“Graves Son & Pilcher have managed Gainsborough House since December 2008 and we have found them to be effective and efficient. We have been particularly impressed by their assignment of a dedicated Property Manager, who has become familiar with the block and has been very responsive in resolving maintenance issues raised and in sourcing and managing local contractors for major works. Equally the Accounts department provides good service and support in the management of Service Charges and other accounts.”
Phil Channon (Gainsborough House)

The importance of ARMA, RICS and IRPM

There are a number of agents offering leasehold property management in Brighton but only three who are fully accredited by industry regulators and able to assure you that your money is safe and being handled correctly. Our voluntary ARMA (Association of Residential Managing Agents) membership guarantees the protection of service charge funds and a superior level of service. ARMA accreditation is a mark of industry best practice and a badge of honour.

RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) membership is an assurance of impartial, expert advice. As an RICS regulated firm, Graves Son & Pilcher acts in your interests, following a strict code of conduct, which includes having professional indemnity insurance in place. When last audited by the RICS, our firm was declared to be “Outstanding”.

IRPM (Institute of Residential Property Management) membership means that individual members of our team are striving for excellence in all areas of property management. By regularly attending courses, they improve their skills and keep up-to-date with legislation so that they can advise you in all property related matters.

Membership of these three bodies demonstrates Graves Son & Pilcher’s commitment to professional expertise when dealing with both freeholders and leaseholders.
